The North Dakota Center for Nursing is a non-member nursing organization that focuses on recruitment, retention, and research. Our organization is a 501c3 registered with the North Dakota Secretary of State. Together, we improve the lives of nurses, North Dakotans, and their communities by connecting stakeholders to the data required to make informed decisions about the nursing workforce.
Mission
Through collaboration, guide the ongoing development of a well-prepared and diverse nursing workforce to meet healthcare needs in North Dakota through research, education, recruitment and retention, advocacy, and public policy. The primary foci for the corporation include 1) Nursing Education and Faculty Resources, 2) Workforce Planning, 3) Practice and Policy, and 4)Research and Development.
Vision
A unified voice for nursing excellence. The corporation was organized for purposes that are exclusively charitable, educational, and scientific within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, specifically includes the provision of education, planning, development, research, and other services to address issues and obstacles affecting the nursing profession.
To guide the ongoing development of a well-prepared and diverse nursing workforce to meet the needs of the citizens of North Dakota through research, education, recruitment and retention, advocacy and public policy. The ND Center for Nursing has four primary areas of emphasis. They include 1) Nursing Education and Faculty Resources, 2) Workplace Planning, 3) Practice and Policy, and 4) Research and Development.
